Polybeach

Founded in 2001 by EPFL students, Polybeach organizes an annual beach volleyball tournament over two days on the shores of Lake Geneva. Designed to bring together students from all over Switzerland, the tournament is unique.

Apart from games, along with various entertainment and sportive activities, the evening of Saturday takes the form of a festive beach party open to the public.

Each year, Polybeach permits, through sport, an intense encounter between students.

Program

On Saturday : Qualifications

During the first day, sports activities are concentrated around the Hot Point. In addition to games, all related activities, especially as the entertainment and bar are also conducted on the site.

Saturday Evening : Beach party

The beach party is open to all, promotes the friendly atmosphere of the event by attracting so many participants. The sand vibrates to the sound of severals DJs, and three bars running all night, players and dancers servant.

Sunday : Final

The games and activities are continuing on the site of Vidy. The Big Finale, scheduled for late afternoon, followed by the awards that closes the event.

The previous editions were able to show that Polybeach represents a platform for dialogues, cultural exchanges and friendships.
